Whittier Band students in 6th-8th grades were able to visit Washington and Lincoln High Schools for their Indoor Marching Band performances. Students had a blast seeing the high school students perform and asking questions about their band experiences. 🎺🎵 Thank you, WHS & LHS!

Important YMCA Update: Beginning immediately (10/26), students will no longer be bussed from Whittier to the YMCA each night. We will continue to run our After School Program AT Whittier with a bus taking students home at 5:30pm. Students will not be transported from Whittier to the YMCA until further notice. Thanks to Revolution Yoga and Cycle Studio, Whittier PRIDE classes have the opportunity to learn beginner yoga in school. The studio's outreach program brings yoga to the classroom and allows students to learn a new skill. We look forward to having the studio join us several more times through the end of this fall!

The Whittier 8th Grade Physical Education students take field trips each quarter. The first trip of the 2023-2024 academic year took place last week with a visit to the Heartland Country Corn Maze. Students enjoyed their time outside in the fall weather! #WhittierInTheWild

The Middle School Choral Festival is TONIGHT at the Washington Pavilion! The event combines choirs from Ben Reifel, George McGovern and Whittier middle schools with the Augustana Choir for an unforgettable experience. Doors open at 6:30 PM, and it is free and open to the public.
